Speaking to Billboard, ?uestlove revealed that The Roots have recorded a number of songs with Elvis Costello that they plan to release as a commercial project later this year. ?uesto described the collection of tracks as “brilliant” and says the 12-14 song LP just needs to be mixed and mastered.

Additionally, the Roots frontman revealed that the group recently started working on their next studio LP, which will be titled & Then You Shoot Your Cousin and is currently slated for a late 2013, early 2014 release.
